I graduated in 2025 with a BFA in Textile Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. I approach textiles as a mediator between people and their surroundings, using materials to create immersive atmospheres that invite reflection, rest, and reconnection with nature. Nature—its forms, rhythms, and systems—is at the heart of my creative inquiry. My work explores the emotional and spatial potential of home textiles, particularly within interior environments.

My practice often begins with observation and experimentation. I explore through material trials—feeling my way toward the right path in the midst of the unknown. I welcome the surprises that emerge during this process, but I always follow my intuition to complete a piece. Stitching is my primary mode of drawing—a way to intervene with the surface of fabric, transforming flat materials into dimensional textile structures. Fabric and paper become responsive grounds where ideas can land, shift, and evolve. I’m especially drawn to challenging materials—threads that at first feel unfamiliar, but gradually reveal their personalities through a tactile conversation.

Looking ahead, I imagine my body of work continuing to explore this direction—textiles as spatial experiences that shift between softness and structure.
