Into the Deep
My idea revolves around the concept of a 'merperson,' redefining the gender of mermaids. On a broader scale, fluidity is the central theme of my work. When you combine elements of both humans and fish, and blur the lines between male and female, you get the merperson I envision.
I aim to redefine their image from the romantic, love-filled fairytales we know, to more dynamic and powerful characters.
