Wool + Steel: A Collaborative Dialogue

This collaborative chair project merges textile and furniture design to explore the balance between natural materials and modern aesthetics. From our initial concept discussions and sketching sessions, to resolving the structural connection between the metal frame and the wool jacquard textile, the process was rooted in constant dialogue. The chair features a sleek, powder-coated metal frame, offering a minimal and contemporary form. In contrast, the handwoven wool textile— designed and fabricated by me—introduces tactility and a subtle organic irregularity.
