I chose a luxury desert resort in Utah called Amangiri as the setting for my design application. My work focuses on two main applications: upholstery fabric and wall coverings. I was inspired by macramé knotting techniques and the textures of the desert landscape, like rust-colored sands and rugged textures of the desert. Also, each design blends the back-to-nature essence of Amangiri with organic materials, reflecting an interplay between the raw and the refined.
