My work invites viewers to engage with the textile from multiple perspectives — whether from the right, left, or center-each angle offering a distinct visual experience. Through pleats, I activate the fabric's surface, making it more fluid anddynamic, allowing light and movement to shape its presence in space.
The materiality of this piece is crucial to its expression. I incorporated reflective threads as floating wefts, which, when the pleats unfold like the pages of a book, reveal striking contrasts between light and shadow.
